Online therapy for anxiety and stress

It rarely arrives all at once. It usually settles in slowly: a tiredness sleep doesn't fix, your mind circling the same thought at 3am, the sense of being permanently on alert.

You don't have to hit rock bottom before asking for help.

When it can help

  • You go over everything and can't switch it off
  • Your body knows it too: tight chest, headaches, bad sleep
  • You snap at the people you love over small things
  • You skip plans you used to make without thinking
  • You're worn out from holding it all together

How we work

First we work out how your anxiety actually runs: what sets it off, what keeps it going, what you've already tried. What soothes one person makes it worse for another, so there's no one-size-fits-all recipe.

Then we get practical: spotting the thoughts that feed it, getting back what it's been taking from you, and learning to sit with discomfort without letting it make your decisions. You set the pace.

Tell me in a few lines what's going on and I'll suggest a first session.

Frequently asked questions

Does video therapy work for anxiety?
Yes. Therapy rests on talking and on the trust between us, and that works just as well over video. It also saves you the journey, which for a lot of people with anxiety is an obstacle in itself.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends what you want to work on and how long it's been going on. We get a sense of it in the first sessions and keep reviewing it together as we go.
Is this the same as taking medication?
No, and they're not incompatible. Medication is your doctor's call; in therapy we work on what keeps the problem going. If you're taking something, we factor it in.

Shall we take the first step?

Tell me what's going on and we'll find a time to meet.
